This book has great instructions for making fantasy creatures. Not only are the projects great, but the page layouts are beautiful. This would make a great gift book for anyone interested in fairies, gnomes and such.

5 out of 5 stars Very helpful! Good inspiration. Nice writing style, too.   March 11, 2007

Excellent pictures and step by step instructions. Some of the projects and techniques are a little basic, but not all. I picked up some great techniques to use with other projects. Well worth the read. It would be really good to read to your kids from while you do some of the projects as the author tells a series of stories as she lays out the formats for the projects. Something different than the usual craft/project book but with just as much useful information.

5 out of 5 stars Great book for Polymer Clay Sculptors   March 8, 2007

As usual Maureen has done a great job of putting together techniques for sculpting. Fairies, gnomes and Trolls fills a need in a lot of serendipitous sculptors to depict the fantasy of our childhood. Thanks Maureen, you rock!
