M�nchen, 19.07.2001 Yesterday I had the fortune to see one copy in a Rosenthal shop in Munich, so I could avoid the mistake to buy one. Searching a dancer figurine of the 1930' you found only a - bad - picture, no description, no words about the artist who made it, nothing.... The book is too expensive for being just a collection of - many - bad pictures without historical comments.

This book just scratched the surface and I was extremely disappointed in the contents. Very little information about the many china shapes and patterns. Nothing about the beautiful bird figurines that Rosenthal is noted for. Lots of pretty pictures but not enough useful content.

Loved it. It was easy to read and understand. The photographs are beautiful. I can't recommend this book more for the collector rather you are just beginning or an expert. Enjoy!

Excellent, definitive reference work for Rosenthal! February 6, 2000

Kerr's book on Rosenthal is an absolute must-have for those whocollect and/or buy and sell Rosenthal. It is jammed full of deliciouspictures showing numerous items in all the categories Rosenthal makes. She includes a pricing guide which is reasonably accurate, even with the advent of online auctions. Don't pass this marvelous book by, it's well worth the price!
