This book has been a great reference for finding pottery marks. This volume does not hold a list of all markings ever used, but it comes closer than any others I have used. My only complaint of this book is that it does not group multiple marks that a particular potter may have used over the years. Instead it groups them by design not by maker.
Still this is the most comprehensive markins book I have found in an affordable price range. Well worth the investment.

This is an excellent guide to Pottery and porcelain. Pictures and descriptions are very helpful in correctly identifying pieces.

This book is full of marks. I used it for pottery and crocks and no longer need the copy I have. I will sell it now.

I have been in the antiques business for 35 years. I have NEVER found an unusual mark in this book. It resides at the back of my closet, I never use it and probably never will. Problem is, I can't find any book on pottery marks that does do the job. The Kovels annual price guides are also a fat waste of money, don't bother.
