essential August 15, 2006 If your work involves particles, you need this book. Particles could be concrete, or copier toner, or flour or zinc oxide nanowires, if you take the time to read this book, you'll be able to do a dozen new things with your humble particles. Disperse them in fluids, measure their sizes, control their zeta potential, cast them into molds, press them in to dies, sinter them into a brick, you name it. Jim's book has been with me for 10 years, and I still use it almost every week.
