From the supplier: The use of ceramic components in various structural applications is steadily increasing. One way to lessen the costs associated with ceramic machining is by disc grinding. There are at present four methods of disc grinding. These are the horizontal spindle feed-through fixture method, the horizontal and vertical spindle rotary method, the horizontal spindle reciprocating method and the single spindle vertical grinding method. A discussion of each method and typical applications are presented.
